Houndstooth

A cloth that is a tad over looked from time to time is the houndstooth, i find that its a smart alternative to the grey and blue plains we see around town. i know it won’t fit in to everyones office and profession but to the people who can get away with it, it should definitely be considered.

There is different variations of houndstooth from summer weight cloths like this holland and sherry crispere to heavier winter weights like flannel. Its also flexable to be worn as a jacket on its own with smart cottons, flannels or even jeans.

Smart Casual

We often get gentlemen in the shop who are looking for a more relaxed jacket for evenings out or to wear on weekends but find it hard to venture over to the full patch pockets breast and side, so heres a happy medium. We still stuck with the out breast welt but added flaps on the patch pockets to smarten it and added an out ticket pocket to make it slightly sporty,

Also to relax the jacket, a softer less constructed shoulder really works along with keeping the lapel a classic width with a traditional notch lapel gives you that smart casual look.
